A Surprise Treat To A Yoga Trainer - Part I
Hello to all the ISS readers, this is PSK trying my best to pen down my real life experience which took place close to 3 years ago. I have to thank one of my close friend who referred me to this website when I was on a low in my Profession/Business which I started closed to 6 years on my own and mentioned you might get some clients out there who are really in need of person like you and so on. So I just tried to log on and found this website interesting, which has led me to share this with you all out there. Now this being a real life experience let me come straight to the incident, which goes like this: I am Personal YOGA Trainer and Massage Therapist in Bangalore. I travel to my clients place to take YOGA classes and for Massage therapy as per the client’s request. So by now you would have an idea as to who can render my services. So one day I got a call while I was driving and says she was referred by so and so, and wants to meet me to avail the services, service hear mean she wants to have personal YOGA classes for her and her husband, so we fixed a date and time to meet as both of us were busy. She was mother of 2, both her daughters were in some posh school in Bangalore only and her husband was a AVP of a very big MNC. I also used to work for a MNC and after my shift, would work as a Personal YOGA Trainer and Massage Therapist, which is my full time Profession now. So on the date of our meeting I called her after my shift to get direction to reach her place and dint get any answer, which made me think it must be one of those calls where people are not serious about these kind of things. When I was about to start from my office, I got a call from her says sorry she had left her phone in her mom’s place and so on, as usual reasons when you don’t answer the phone, as I haven’t met her before I don’t even know if it was true or false. However she gave me the direction to reach her place which was a very big bungalow in JP Nagar. As soon as I reached there found this gorgeous lady receiving me with a beautiful smile, I have to say gorgeous is an understatement. Any ways I went in and had a good chat about her requirement from me. Now let me tell you all I serve different type of population not only with their physical need from YOGA but also their intellectual need and never had any fascination toward any other intentions. However found she already has a lady YOGA teacher coming to her house to teach from past few months and she is not happy with the performance, this she told me when she felt my Fees was on the higher side and wanted to have a demo class, so we agreed on to make it one of these days when both of us are ok as she was a housewife with lot of extracurricular activity, by the by she was a Bharatanatyam teacher and runs a Dance school in USA, so she used to teach in her house as well as in a Dance school. As she is from a very rich family and husband being a AVP of a very big MNC had a driver, a cook, a maid and so on. Any ways the demo class was successful and she was very much impressed with the traditional approach of classic YOGA. Then she agreed to my fees structure and few months passed by and she was very much happy with the results both on physical lever and intellectual level as she had quite a lot to take care of may it be house, kids and her class, so on and so forth, as her husband had to travel a lot and was suffering from some nick problem. So one day she requested me to take class for her husband and see if I can fix his nick problem as doctors had advised him to take complete bed rest. In fact we used to take class in an open area in the first floor where she used to take dance class for her students, which was surrounded by her Master bed room, her Kids bed room and an entertainment room, as I told you it was a big bungalow and car garage with a single room accommodation for either the maid or cook or the driver, however it was not been occupied by any one and was used as a store room. Now coming back to the story I took class for her husband and was able to impress him as well in fixing the pain very much momentarily after the practice of YOGA technique, so this continued for few months. I have to tell you she was down to earth person and did not have any head weight at all. On a regular basis I used to see her in all types of outfits and just before the class she used to go to her room to change and come back with a skin tight pant and a T-shirt for YOGA practice. Most of the time her house used to be crowded with servant’s her mother used to stay nearby and she also used to be in all the time. One day while practice session we had to do few balancing practice for which I usually give support to all my clients by touching them on their shoulders, hands, hips, back, legs and so on trust me it completely professional and believe me all my clients enjoy that to the maximum extent. As she was no exception, she also used to like those kind of touch on her and as days, months passed by we had improved our professional relation turning into being one of their family friend or family YOGA trainer. Forgot to mention she was in her late 30’s may be 39 years and I am still not sure about her stats as I have never measure and also asked for those information. However she as on a little plumply side and a typical iyengar family lady well educated and her daughters were of 12 years and 5 years respectively.
