Dating My Daughter - Part 6
Hello ISS readers. I am back with this series. My quick intro. My name is Aafi. This is a fantasy fictional story. I’m a divorced 41-year-old guy who has a beautiful and young daughter, Amy. She just turned 19 and I haven’t seen Amy in almost 10 years. But now she has come down to meet me. So this is what happened. Amy texted me about meeting them in the cafe tomorrow. The next morning, I woke up and got freshened up. I got ready and headed to the cafe. The cafe looks nice. But Amy isn’t here yet. I think I came here too early. If I remember correctly, she said Elena will be here too. I hope this time it is true. I’m looking forward to meeting her. All right. Let’s go talk to the barista girl. Me: Good morning! Girl: Good morning sir! How can I help you? Me: I’ll have two lattes and one espresso, please. Girl: All right, that’d be. 5.99 bucks sir. Me: There you go. Keep the change. Girl: Thanks so much sir. Me: You’re welcome Girl: Please have a seat, sir. I’ll be right out with your order. Me: Thank you! I sat on a table which is in the corner. After some time the girl brought my order. She went back to the counter. There’s no one else in the cafe. I grabbed my coffee. Wow! This smells delicious! I hope they don’t take too long. Oh! There she is! I saw Amy arriving at the cafe. She’s talking to the barista girl. Amy: Hi Jen! Jen: Hi Amy. Wait a minute! Do they know each other? Shit! She’s coming! Act like nothing happened Aafi. Amy’s: Hi Daddy! Me: Hi! Please, take a seat! She sat opposite me. Me: You know the barista girl? Amy: Of course, her name is Jen and she’s Elena’s friend. Well. She’s my friend too! Want me to introduce you? Me: That’d be cool. She called Jen and introduced me to her. Let me tell you about her. She’s wearing a waitress uniform. It’s a blue dress. Amy: Jen. This is my dad, Aafi. Jen: Oh! Nice to meet you, sir. Me: Please! Call me Aafi. Jen: All right, Aafi. Me: So, Jen. How long have you been working here? Jen: Hmm just a couple of weeks. This is my first job ever! Me: Really? Jen: Yes! Me: And do you like it so far? Jen: Sure! It’s a great place to work. I get to meet nice people like you guys! And the tips are great too! Amy: You should hang out with us someday. Jen: Yeah! That’d be cool Amy. Listen. I’m sorry guys. My boss is going to kill me if I’m not behind the counter taking orders! Me: Yeah I don’t want you to get fired because of us. Jen: I’ll leave you two guys alone. It was nice meeting you Aafi. Me: It was nice meeting you too Jen! Jen went back to her counter. I brought up the topic of the kiss that happened between us yesterday evening. Me: I wanted to talk to you about something honey. Amy: What is it? Me: The kiss you gave me the other day. Amy: Oh, about that. Dad, listen. I’m sorry. I know it was awkward for you and I promise it won’t happen again. I don’t know what I was thinking. She didn’t let me speak. Amy: You’re such a nice guy. You forgave me when I fell asleep on your bed. You gave me your coat when I was soaked. I don’t want you to think I’m some kind of weirdo or something. Me: Are you kidding me? I’m not going to lie. You caught me off guard. But I liked it. Amy: Really? Me: Yes! It was nice of you to do that. You didn’t have to kiss me, but I’m glad that you did. Amy: Oh. Do you think it’s okay for daughters to kiss their dads on the mouth? I mean. I know you wanted to kiss me before but I wasn’t thinking that. Me: Of course honey! It’s normal. Amy: Even when they’re adults? Me: Even so. Listen. Maybe we could greet each other with a friendly kiss from now on. What do you say? Amy: I wouldn’t mind really. Me: Awesome! What’s wrong? Amy: Oh nothing. I thought you were going to think I’m a weirdo but I guess I was wrong. Me: Honey! Why would I think that? You’re my daughter. You’re my little girl. I love you, no matter what. Amy: I love you too Daddy. I couldn’t control, I quickly reached Amy’s face and kissed her lips and sat down without anyone noticing. Amy: What! Oh my God! Jen is going to see us. Me: She’s too busy doing her job, don’t worry about it. Amy: Okay, but I’m kinda shy when it comes to these things. I would appreciate if we did this in private and not in public. Me: Oh sure honey. I’m sorry, I got carried away. Amy: It’s okay. Me: All right. It’s a deal then! Amy: What do you think about Frank? Me: What do you mean? Amy: I don’t know dad, he was always complaining about me being so shy. He doesn’t even bother to ask me if I’m okay. It’s been three days now and I have no news from him. I’m tired of waiting. Me: Maybe he’s not really into you. Amy: Oh Me: It’s just what I think, I might be wrong though. I wouldn’t treat an innocent and cute little girl like you that way. Amy: Daddy, I wish he was half the man you are. Me: Oh honey, don’t say that. Amy: Seriously. I’m tired of guys like Frank. I want to date a real gentleman! A guy like you, daddy. Me: I could teach you how to become a good girlfriend if you want. Amy: What? Me: You want to know what guys like me like and how to make them happy, right? Amy: Yes! Wait! Dad. Are you asking me to be your girlfriend? Me: No, honey. You’re my daughter. Why would I ask you that? Amy: I don’t know daddy. It’s just… Me: You could be my student. That’s what I was trying to say. Amy: Well. In that case… We heard Jen talking to someone. They were hugging each other. They whispering something. Jen: Amy and her dad are here. Elena: Oh yes, I saw them! Jen: Amy’s dad is really cute! She’s such a lucky girl Elena: I know, right! All right, I’m going to go with them. See you later okay? Elena joined us. She grabbed a seat to my right. Amy was on the right of Elena. She’s looking really beautiful. She’s wearing a white thin t-shirt and blue jeans. Amy: Elena! This is my dad! Elena: Hi! Nice to meet you! Me: Aafi. My name is Aafi Elena: Nice to meet you Aafi. Amy told me a lot of things about you, Aafi. Me: I hope they were good things.
