Lock-down Mischief With Husband's Friend
Dear readers, I hope you all are doing well in this current pandemic worldwide. It’s a tough situation for all of us. Stay safe, stay home. I am not active in writing anymore but some of my readers sent me their stories and asked me to help them post. If you have read my earlier narration, then you are aware that I am choosy in such narrations. Below one I found good for you all. Show your love and support for this one too as you did earlier. This story comes all the way from Noida. Read the story in Arpita’s words now:- Hi, my name is Arpita (24 years old) from a higher middle-class family. The lock-down situation put me in a lot of trouble. I was married (love marriage) but only a few of the people in my life knew it because I married a guy without telling my parents. I live in Delhi but I am basically from Punjab. I finished my studies and came to Delhi to do a job. I had been a content writer in a well-known company for the last 2 years. The guy I got married belonged to a middle-class family and he was from Delhi itself. His name was Arshad. We met at an event through a common friend from my office. Soon, the common friend was side-tracked and we both started to know each other more. After a year of meeting and talking on the phone, one day he proposed to me earlier this year in January. I knew that my family would not agree on this so I decided to marry him without telling anyone. Everything was going well till March, we usually met at a friend’s place or sometimes at night in my PG but then lock-down happened and I had to go to my aunt’s house in Meerut. Our talks still continued and somehow, I managed to come back to Noida. I informed him one day prior to this and asked him to meet me. We agreed on the same. I reached my PG early morning. I called him to meet me at 9 at the PG gate. I told him I will open it for him and allow him to enter inside. I took some rest and then went for a shower and got ready. I was dressed like his newlywed wife as you can understand we had not met for 2 months approx. I was waiting for him at my window by the roadside. Three hours passed, five hours passed but he did not show up. I called him umpteen times but he was not responding. I was slowly getting worried. I waited for him like that till 3 pm but no one came and no phone call or message came either. I started to cry (it happened itself). That whole night, I cried and didn’t sleep. The next day, our common friend called me out of nowhere. I informed him about everything. He came that day to meet me. I told him everything that happened. He too was worried. He promised me he would enquire about it and asked me to give him 2 days’ time. Soon two days passed but he had no answer. I lost hope and finally, I called Arshad’s closest friend Irfan and asked him what was happening. He didn’t tell me anything. I asked him to come and met me as he was aware that we got married and he was the one who clicked all the pictures of us. The next day, he came to my PG. He informed me that Arshad already got married to someone else 3 months ago! Irfan apologized as he had no guts to tell me about this earlier. Tears started to drop from my eyes when I heard the news. There is no worse feeling than a broken heart. I asked Irfan to leave, closed my door at his face, and cried for almost two days. I didn’t answer any call or message from anyone. Then Irfan came to my room on the third day. I was sitting in the corner of the room, I was having dark circles, dirty clothes, and all the things. He held me by my shoulders and I dropped unconsciously on him (I had no energy left in me). He took me to my bed and threw some water on my face. When I opened my eyes, my husband’s friend was standing there. He offered me some water and food and asked me to take them. He then left and called me to console and was feeling guilty for not telling me. He kept calling me for the next 4-5 days to check on me and ask me if I need anything. I started texting him on Whatsapp with voice notes or messages to divert my mind. One day, he called me and asked me to get ready. He was going to take me out for some fresh air. I too wanted it as I was very upset and heartbroken. My husband’s friend came at 5 in the evening. I sat on his bike and we went to a nearby coffee parlor, as most of the things were still closed. Irfan had nothing to do, he drove his bike for some time and dropped me at my PG. I said nothing to him and came to my PG. That time, I was upset again. I called Irfan at around 9 pm. We talked for an hour where he again consoled me. I slept like that talking with him and I woke up around 12 am. I called him again but he disconnected my call. I left a voice note saying I was not feeling well and I was very upset. I was sitting on the window side with my coffee and remembering all the moments. Suddenly, I saw Irfan was there on the street. He waved and asked to come in. I said ok. But the front door was locked. So he climbed up the balcony and entered my room. We sat there and talked and had some coffee. I was still the same as I was in the evening. But our talks again made me remember my husband Arshad and tears were coming out of my eyes. Irfan came close to me, held my face, wiped the tears, and put my face on his chest and hugged me. He kept asking me to stop crying. As I was crying more, my fingers tightened on his shirt like a fist. His hug was getting tighter too. My hands too wrapped around his back. My husband’s friend slowly loosened the hug. We looked into each other’s eyes and then we kissed! It just happened! Then our kiss got more sensual and loving. Irfan slowly lifted me while kissing. After a minute, the kiss broke. We again looked into each other’s eyes. I felt shy. He put my hair back over my ear and hugged me again. He then took me to my bed and we kissed again.
