Married To African For Project
Hi this is Sravya (friends I am changing my name ) This is story about my personal experience when I was in Africa for a project I am 24 years old 5 feet 7 inches height fair and slim In my family we are 3 members my family is well established in business for few generations so literally I was born with silver spoon The story I am telling it is about 5 years back when I am studying archeology in hyderabad its during the project work time every one started to select there own interest some of my friends selected in various categories and places for project this project which helps us to get a better opportunity and to grow more in our career so it is really important to me and I selected project in Africa but my father did not accept my project in Africa after long fight he accepted At last I traveled to Africa ,in Africa where everyone is dark and have very rough skin sometimes I even afraid of them .Where I met with akachi a tour guide with his help I visited many villages and met many people and learned many things but my project was not good as I expected when I told akachi about my project he told me about the village and its customs rituals and tradition I felt that visiting the village would really help my project so I asked him to take me to the village but he told me about the villagers did not allow outsiders into the village so I requested akachi to take me there once so we could talk to them and ask them to help he agreed and we went to the village First akachi went to the village leaders and taken the permission to talk with them then he came back and we both went to the head of the village I spoke with him and told him about my project and asked him to help me then he spoke with the other heads of the village and told me to stay one day and leave the next day I told him that one day isn’t sufficient for the project at least I need 45 days to 2 months he said that there is no chance of living outsiders such a long time in the village I requested him to help me in anyway akachi also requested But he said no ,akachi told me to offer some money to him I asked him that I would like to pay the money as much as he want Then the village head started thinking then he told us to wait and left to speak with other village heads after sometime he came back and told me that he wants to speak with me alone so I asked akachi to leave room He told me that there is no chance of living in the village as an outsider but he will help me to become member of the village for that he needs 3 cows 5 goats & 3 pigs and he also told me that think before you accept I said ok Then he started to tell ,i am surprised to hear that he told me that if I marry anyone from the village I can become the member of the village he told me to think about it ,it is only chance and also he told me that he will arrange everything no need to be afraid, marriage is just a formality and I started thinking about it I told him that after completing of my projects I need to get back to home he said ok he also told that this thing shouldn’t know to other people other than villagers even to akachi then all the village heads told me if it is ok then send back akachi and come with them. Then I went to akachi and told him that they agreed and allowed to stay in the village and I give some money to him and sent him back When I enter the village the village heads taken me to the hut and asking me to stay there after a couple of hours they came back and asked to come along with them, all the village people gathered near a tree and told me about a person who is around 35-40 years old his name is berko he’s married his wife is dead he’s living alone so the village heads wants to me to marry him I said he is too old can I have a choice they said I don’t have a choice because after two three months u will return back to your home so you can’t make your choice if you want make a choice,make sure you have to stay here forever after the marriage I thought that there is no other choice for me so I accepted then they ask me 2 cows 2 goats and 3 pigs for berko I said okay . The villagers started the marriage arrangements they told me to do bath and get ready for marriage they give me some clothes and jewelry which are completely different I wear them and the marriage rituals started they give me and berko some drink and announced that we are married . Berko and I went to his house ,his house looks like small hut I didn’t felt good he doesn’t even have a basic amenities I felt little bit awkward for my situation I told him about myself and about the marriage and also I offer some money for him to stay away from me he returned back my money and told not to worry Berko is 35 to 40 years old person looks a little bit short ,dark, a small curly hair in African style, regular body with little tummy . Later that night I didn’t eat anything and I slept thinking about me and berko ,a fair 20 years old virgin girl and short and 35-40 years old person how does the pair look I doesn’t know when I got into sleep. Next day when I woke up I didn’t see him I went out of the hut and look around I was walking around the village and looking at the houses ,people and their living style.
