Will My Best Friend Seduce My Mom? - Part 2
It was afternoon. We bunked the classes that day. Ayaan and I sat in complete silence, our eyes locked on the phone screen. Ayaan’s fingers were hovering over the phone. “Bro, I don’t think I should do this,” he said like pulling back slightly. “You’ve already started. No backing out now,” I replied. He exhaled sharply, then focused back on the phone. Moments ago, he had sent a bold yet harmless text to my mom from an unknown number. A playful compliment. Nothing too risky. Just enough to test the waters. Unknown Number: “Hey, I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but I saw your picture on my phone… and I have to say, you are absolutely beautiful.” Minutes passed by. The wait was something exciting. Ayaan tapped his foot anxiously. “Dude, she will gonna find this weird. What if she doesn’t reply?” “Trust me, she will”, I replied. And then, mom replied. Mom: “Oh? And who might this admirer be?” Ayaan’s eyes widened. “Bro, she replied! And she’s flirting back?” “Told you,” I said with smile. Ayaan looked at me, “What now?” “Keep it playful. Make her curious. But don’t overdo it.” Ayaan hesitated before typing, Unknown Number: “Just someone who couldn’t resist appreciating beauty. Hope that’s not a crime?” A moment later, mom replied back, Mom: “Flattery! won’t get you out of trouble, mystery man. But I’ll let you off the hook… if you give me a hint.” Ayaan looked at me after reading. “She’s totally into this, bro. What if she finds out it’s me and gets mad?” “She won’t. She’s not the strict, serious type. She loves playful teasing. Just go with it.” Ayaan nodded and typed, Unknown Number: “Hints ruin the mystery. But tell me, do you always look this stunning, or was it just that one picture?” This time, she didn’t just reply. She sent a picture, a fresh one. She had just taken it. Ayaan’s breath hitched on receiving pic. The photo was casual, she was wearing a simple kurti, her hair flowing over her shoulders in soft waves. It was effortlessly elegant about the way she smiled, confident yet amused. “Dude… she actually sent a picture?” Ayaan whispered in disbelief. I smirked. “Told you she plays along.” Ayaan quickly typed, Unknown Number: “That first picture didn’t do justice. You look… incredible.” Mom: “Hah! Smooth talker. But I still don’t know who you are. Should I be worried?” Ayaan smirked, feeling more confident. “I think I should tell her now.” I nodded. “Yeah, do it.” Taking a deep breath, he attached a casual selfie and hit send. The screen stayed silent for a moment. Then mom replied, Mom: “Ayaan?!?” Ayaan’s heart skipped a beat. “Shit, bro. What if she gets offended.” Another message popped up. Mom: “You little brat! I should’ve known! And here I was thinking some mystery admirer had found me! You boys are crazy.” Ayaan let out a nervous chuckle. “At least she’s laughing. That’s a good sign, right?” “Very good,” I said. Then, Mom: “Alright, what are you two up to today? Just pranking people and bunking classes? or is this part of some new game?” Ayaan smirked. “Let’s push it a little more.” Ayaan: “Not a prank. Just… a new realization.” Mom: “Oh? And what realization is that?” Ayaan looked at me. “Bro, how do I flirt without making it weird?” I thought for a moment before suggesting, “Keep it light. Let her think she’s in control.” Ayaan typed, Ayaan: “Just that some beauty is overlooked until you see it in a new light.” Mom: “Oh, now that’s interesting. And what ‘new light’ is this?” Ayaan smirked at me. “She’s playing along, bro.” “Obviously. Now, tease her a little.” Ayaan: “Let’s just say I never expected my best friend’s mom to be the most charming woman I know.” Mom: “Hahaha! You are impossible. I should’ve guessed you would start trouble today.” Ayaan hesitated, then decided to take a chance. Ayaan: “Maybe. But tell me, do you enjoy being admired?” A longer pause this time. Mom: “Hmm. Who doesn’t? But I wonder… is this admiration just playful, or is there something more?” Ayaan turned to me, his face serious. “Bro, she’s testing me now.” “Exactly. If you say too much, she might pull back. If you say too little, she might lose interest.” Ayaan exhaled and typed, Ayaan: “Let’s just say… I enjoy looking. And appreciating.” Mom read the message but didn’t reply immediately. Seconds passed. Then a new message popped up. Mom: “So, if I were there right now, would you still be ‘just appreciating’?” Ayaan shocked. “Dude… what do I say?” I grinned. “Tell her the truth.” He hesitated, then slowly typed, Ayaan: “Maybe. Or maybe I’d be completely mesmerized.” A pause. Then Mom: “You’re good at this. Maybe a little too good.” Ayaan smirked. “She’s enjoying it, bro.” Then another message popped up. Mom: “Alright, last question. If I let you keep looking, what would you focus on first?” Ayaan’s fingers hovered over the keyboard. “Bro… she’s totally leading this now.” “Exactly. Now, give her an answer she’ll remember.” He took a deep breath and typed. We had supposed to thought of more intimate, just cool as ass but Ayaan wanted to go simple for now. Ayaan: “Your Lips. I’d start there.” A long silence followed. Then, Mom: “Hmm. Good choice. It’s one of my best features, after all.” Ayaan exhaled; he flushed. “Bro… what just happened?” I burst into laughter. “You, my friend, just stepped into something far more interesting than you expected.” Ayaan leaned back, shaking his head. “Damn… she’s really something else.” And in that moment, we both realized, what started as a playful game had turned into something far more intriguing. Ayaan sat frozen.
